Trying to plan hikes and excursions. A few will require high clearance for access to trailheads. Just need a count on who will be driving what. I'd appreciate feedback from all attendees on this. It will be helpful.

As long as you're reading this thread, jump over to Allen's thread about the Green River books. Give him a yes or no. He works many hours to put these books together. They are works of art and unique souvenirs. And we all participate in the text and photos. I know that I cherish my set and share them often with friends. What better way to help folks understand why we do this every year?

Won't be driving a high clearance vehicle.  Only a sedan.

I'm hoping Rick will be driving his Jeep Wrangler.  He wants to bring my Jeep but I'm saying no.   So count on one Wrangler

We'll have a suburu forester.  However don't count on us for any hikes.

Donna, I'm not sure we want to test the quality of whatever POS you arrive in. We want your trip to be breakdown free

We will have some kind of rental.  Being cheapskates it won't be any kind of SUV unless we get a free upgrade.  Rental prices have gone right up, the deal we got in at Houston airport last year is waaaaaay cheaper than anything I've found this year, and I keep looking for a better deal.

(But, of course, we're up for squeezing into somebody else's car to get to good hikes or for an off road adventure.)

Alex:  I've rented a car, can't remember what, will have to look it up but definitely not a high clearance.
